Week 42: We've started pulling ourselves up on pieces of furniture to stand. We're still a bit wobbly, but we practice a lot and everywhere. And if we're standing somewhere and can't get back down we have to cry for Mami or Daddy. Fortunately they come to our rescue even though we don't call them by their names. But they don't understand anything we say to them anyway. We talk all day to them, to ourselves, to our friends and to each other. And sometimes we laugh our heads off about something the other one just did or said, or because Mami and Daddy don't understand anything. But one thing they do understand: we can pull ourselves up quite well already. That's why they lowered our beds a little bit, so we can't fall out if we practice standing there.
Robert has joined Erik in being able to climb the stairs, and Erik crawls more often now too, so we are both after our Mami all the time. In the kitchen there are so many nice things to take out of the cupboards. Putting them back in is not part of our repertoire yet!
Mami is happy that we've learnt to drink out of our learning cups. We only get breastfed in the morning and in the evening now. But we really insist on these nursing sessions. During the daytime it's quite alright with the other food, but in the morning and in the evening we really want Mami!
